Week in Brisbane

April 4th 2006 -

It was a good week: I saw my twin nieces and many other relatives, caught up with Evan, and participated in the world’s first Spit stage performance (there was a live Spit performance in Ev’s living room in Townsville many years ago, but that was on a couch, not a stage.)

I really ought to write more, because many cool things happened, but I’m feeling a wee bit tired out from all that holidaying. I need a few more days at work to relax. Also, still feeling guilty about not doing enough writing etc. on my “proper” writing topics (though I did get to 1000 words).

You really ought to write more because you used the words “Spit stage performance” and didn’t elaborate on when I could expect my royalty cheque.

My mother saw Evan the other day – at his grandmothers funeral I think. She said he’d remember her because she was the old lady spitting almond meal on him. She talked to him just after eating almonds. heh. She also said he still looked about 17yrs old. So, did he ever get his portrait taken?

Yeah, but he tossed it in an attic or something because it didn’t look like him.
