I did enjoy Ender’s Game, but was a bit disturbed by it, too. And I didn’t like the sequels at all, though I can’t remember why. I vaguely remember being more and more annoyed with Ender’s character, who I thought was a bit of a Mary-Sue.

I wish Jon luck with the book. I’ve been seeing The Prisoner box sets on DVD around the place and am mightily tempted (I’ve still never seen most of them, but the ones I have seen were very fine TV). Tell him I’ll read it when it comes out.

"Ender’s Game" is very good, isn’t it? I read the rest of the series last year. For obvious reasons, the rest are completely different to EG, and I wasn’t sure I liked them until about halfway through the second sequel. But they are pretty good (and none of them are as good as EG).

I’ve been wanting to procrastinate lately, but have had to put it off due to workload. However, it was good to see everyone on the weekend.

I see you’ve named the subject of this book. I’m never sure what’s secret or not, so didn’t do so (I still haven’t named my own book I’ve been muttering about on lj, though it looks like that might change as of tomorrow).
