Congrats to both of you. 3.4 kg is a nice size too: just a touch over average. My girl was 4.1 kg. Just try to imagine that squeezing out of any orifice of your body.

  6. Tina Says:

Congrats! And lots of ‘aww, cute’ from a slightly clucky newlywed!
Hi Anne, no thanks :) Don’t want to be scared off just yet…

    Oh my god.

Awwww Andrew … congratulations to all of you. I look forward to many many parenthood posts and photos. A little Leo girl, just barely! (I theeenk, may depend on the time.) What a perfect little nose and mouth she has … it’s a whole new person omg! *squeee*

Love love love the name! :D

Also, there’s something rather fabulously symmetrical about her birthdate … 22.8.10. That the 2 and 8 add up to 10, that they’re all even numbers, that it goes from the smallest even single digit to the first even double digit. I don’t know if it means anything and it totally doesn’t have to, I know, but am very happy to just admire the beautiful mysterious symmetry of it. :p

  13. Chris Says:

Oh, splendid :) Welcome to the outside world, young Jade, give my regards to the 22nd century!
