Congrats to both of you. 3.4 kg is a nice size too: just a touch over average. My girl was 4.1 kg. Just try to imagine that squeezing out of any orifice of your body.

Also, there’s something rather fabulously symmetrical about her birthdate … 22.8.10. That the 2 and 8 add up to 10, that they’re all even numbers, that it goes from the smallest even single digit to the first even double digit. I don’t know if it means anything and it totally doesn’t have to, I know, but am very happy to just admire the beautiful mysterious symmetry of it. :p
