All going well

Von continues to gestate with aplomb, as witnessed by cousin Kat, who stayed with us over the easter weekend, and Jon & Kate, who had dinner with us on Sunday night. We haven’t seen Kat in ages, since she moved back to Brisbane to help out Aunt Alison. In any case, there was much catching up, and we got together the old band Vonkatan and played through some classics together, and played many board games and ate a lot of chocolate. It was a lot of fun.
Then yesterday I caught a low-grade cold. It hasn’t developed into anything requiring time off work yet, but it sure does make me feel bleurgh.
Hmm. For the most part, I’m happy to have anotherblog as a day-to-day journal for my own record keeping purposes, and to keep family and friends informed of what I’m doing because I’m terrible at calling people. I don’t do much linking, or topical analysis. In my limited experience, forum-style debates quickly degenerate into source-citing and require lots of homework. And that’s the good ones. The bad ones – such as what Jon & Kate are going through at the moment on livejournal – are quite terrifying.

yeah… and a really lazy way for me to see what you’re up to too… it’s in the family :)
